Lotherton Hall

Lotherton Hall

Return to Yorkshire attractions

Lotherton Hall is believed to have been built in 1086. In 1968 Leeds city council took over the House and surrounding land. Lotherton Hall has an impressive bird garden where you can see a wide range of different birds, big and small from all corners of the world. It also has a field with two different types of dear in it.

Things to do

The grounds and the bird gardens are free to walk around. There is a car parking fee and it does cost to get into the house itself. There is a cafe onsite and plenty of places to have a picnic.
